GCP Engineer

GCP Dataplex Engineer (Contract – 5–6 Months) We’re looking for a GCP Dataplex Engineer to build and operationalize data governance, security, and cloud data management solutions on Google Cloud for sensitive telecom datasets. What You’ll Do Design Dataplex Lakes/Zones aligned to Medallion architecture Manage data assets across BigQuery & GCS Implement metadata tagging, lineage, and governance frameworks Set up RBAC, fine‑grained access, masking, and encryption Build/maintain Composer/Airflow pipelines with quality checks Develop Dataplex data quality rules & observability dashboards Automate deployments using Terraform or Pulumi What You Bring Strong experience with Dataplex, BigQuery, GCS, Composer/Airflow Deep knowledge of data governance, RBAC, and cloud security SQL & Python proficiency IaC experience (Terraform/Pulumi) Data quality & observability experience Telecom data experience is a plus
