Accounts Receivable Analyst — Collections & Customer Engagement Turn outstanding balances into resolved accounts while building strong customer relationships. This role is ideal for individuals who combine analytical thinking with strong communication skills to drive results in a fast-paced financial operations environment. You will take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, working proactively to reduce aging balances, resolve discrepancies, and improve overall payment performance.
Role Overview As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will manage the end-to-end collections process for a diverse set of customers. This includes engaging directly with clients, identifying the causes of payment delays, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently. This role blends customer interaction, data analysis, and process improvement, offering the opportunity to make a measurable impact on cash flow and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities Account Portfolio Management — Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances and maintaining accurate account status. Collections & Relationship Building — Engage with customers using appropriate communication channels to collect overdue payments while maintaining positive, professional relationships. Delinquency Reduction — Proactively identify and address past‑due accounts, working to minimize aging and improve overall receivables performance.
Issue Resolution & Root Cause Analysis — Analyze payment delays to uncover underlying issues, partnering with customers and internal stakeholders to implement effective solutions. Escalation Management — Apply structured escalation processes for complex or unresponsive accounts, ensuring timely resolution and risk mitigation. Systems & Tools Utilization — Leverage financial systems, reporting tools, and data platforms to manage accounts, track performance, and support decision‑making.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies, streamline processes, and improve overall customer experience. What You Bring Communication Skills — Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with confidence in engaging customers and internal stakeholders. Analytical Thinking — Ability to evaluate account data, identify trends, and contribute to resolving complex payment issues.
Technical Proficiency — Comfort working with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting. Attention to Detail — High level of accuracy when managing financial information and account records. Time Management — Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts effectively in a deadline‑driven environment.

Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer service is preferred.
