Operating Engineer 2 - Clarios

Our client, a leading organization in facility management and building operations, is seeking an Operating Engineer 2 to join their team. As an Operating Engineer 2, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operating Engineer 2 Location: San Antonio, TX What's the Job? Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across various systems. Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Monitor and record system performance, making adjustments to ensure optimal operation. Assist with preventative maintenance, inventory control, and safety procedures. Support team members with multi-skilled tasks, contributing to a collaborative work environment.

What's Needed? High School Diploma or Equivalent. 2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems. Experience with Chillers, Air Compressors, Condensers, and piping for units over 500+ tons.

EPA 608 Type II Certification. Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel. What's in it for me?
