Cybersecurity Engineer

Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or suspicious activities Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus software, SIEM tools, and intrusion detection systems Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies Secure cloud environments, applications, and endpoints Collaborate with IT teams to improve system security Maintain compliance with security standards and regulations Create security reports and documentation Required Skills Knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security Experience with cybersecurity tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Splunk, or CrowdStrike Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and access control Incident response and threat analysis skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles CEH CompTIA Security+ CISSP CISM Preferred Qualifications Experience with SOC operations and SIEM platforms Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, or NIST Cybersecurity Engineer • Atlanta, GA, Georgia, USA #J-18808-Ljbffr
