Proposals Engineer

Proposals Engineer Due to forward planning and our commitment to achieve continued growth and success, we are currently looking to recruit a permanent Proposals Engineer. Reporting directly to the Internal Sales Manager, the successful candidate would be required to have a minimum of five years’ experience within an Engineering estimating role with experience in medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects. Demonstrating a competency, through experience, in the production to prepare sales estimates/quotations and win customer orders.

Key Responsibilities Preparation of estimates and quotations. A good understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings. Sourcing of materials and components to compile accurate estimates.

Required Qualifications Proven estimating experience within an engineering background. Experience within fabrication and machining disciplines. Good communication skills both verbal and written.

Attention to accuracy and detail. Ability to work to deadline. Well organised and methodical.

Enthusiastic, with a strong desire to succeed. Competency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word. Benefits Salary will be dependent upon experience. 37 hour working week. 33 days holiday per year (25 days + 8 statutory).
