As a Lead Digital Product Manager in the ACE organization, you will drive multiple products across a platform, contributing to defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of a suite of products that meet customer needs and align with Allstate’s strategic goals. You will lead and coach a team of Digital Product Managers to advance product strategy, driving innovation and growth. Key Responsibilities Manage the strategic direction of a product family, ensuring alignment to highest priority outcomes, including vision and strategy for a suite of digital products.
Conduct market and user research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and launch new digital products. Create forums for roadmap alignment and planning in support of strategic initiatives across the product portfolio.
Optimize team ceremonies and practices, such as story grooming, prioritization, and backlog management. Define product performance metrics, monitor performance using analytics tools, and make data‑driven decisions. Communicate product progress and updates to internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring appropriate prioritization and coordination.
Engage in strategic vendor management, partnering with external vendors and internal sourcing leaders. Forecast and manage total cost of ownership, including vendor contracts, hardware costs, and labor costs, to ensure operational effectiveness. Gather and analyze customer feedback to continually improve the product.
Drive maturity in product management practices and influence engineering, platform consultancy, and architecture leadership within the product domain and across ACE. Grow and mature Digital Product Management practitioner skills within the team by modeling expected skills and behaviors. Essential Criteria Legal right to work in the UK; Allstate does not sponsor.
At least 5+ years of experience as a Digital Product Manager. Minimum of 2 years’ experience coaching and mentoring multiple product teams. Experience in End User, Network, Compute, or Platform as a Service preferred.
Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tooling. Understanding of development processes, human‑centered design, UX/UI design, and digital marketing. Ability to effectively communicate complex and innovative product concepts to cross‑functional development teams.
Proven data‑driven decision‑making to influence product direction and prioritization. Desirable Experience Experience working in the insurance industry or with enterprise‑level software solutions. Skills Cross‑functional teamwork.
