Senior Product Manager (Asset Manager)

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager with deep asset management experience and a strong background working on financial investment platforms. This person will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, drive delivery, and support enhancements through data-informed decision-making. Job details Rate: $60–80+/hr (DOE) Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote Hours: 40 hours/week Duration: ASAP through 12/31/26, with possible extension or full-time conversion Must-have background Deep asset management expertise, especially in investment performance, attribution, and benchmark-related work Experience partnering closely with portfolio, performance, and risk teams Hands-on product ownership experience across requirements, backlog management, and delivery on investment platforms Strong comfort working with data, including SQL and some Python Practical interest in using AI to improve analysis, documentation, and delivery outputs Strong background in asset management or financial services Experience with investment performance, attribution, benchmarks, and related data Understanding of front-, middle-, and back-office workflows Knowledge of equities, fixed income, derivatives, ETFs, and mutual funds Product & delivery leadership Experience managing product backlogs, requirements, and delivery Ability to lead stakeholder sessions and translate needs into user stories and functional documentation Experience with agile delivery, sprint planning, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination Ability to communicate status, risks, and dependencies clearly Technical requirements & candidate profile Strong SQL skills for analysis, validation, and reconciliation Comfort working directly with complex data; Python experience preferred Experience with BI or reporting tools, ideally Power BI 5+ years as a business systems analyst or related role Able to work independently and lead requirements gathering with limited oversight Strong communication skills across business and technical teams Interest in AI and automation to improve delivery and documentation For consideration please share your resume. #J-18808-Ljbffr
