Job Description
About the Role We are seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to contribute to the research, design, manufacturing, and quality assurance of advanced materials and systems within the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems. Develop risk management plans.
Design, develop, and specify processes for moulding, forming, and thermal treatment of metals, alloys, ceramics and other materials. Check and monitor product quality. Qualifications Education: other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a related field. Certifications: AutoCAD Certification. Computer & technology: Mastercam CAD/CAM, ERP software, MS Windows, CAD.
Industrial processes and biological studies: product development. Equipment, systems and controls: NC and CNC systems. Area of work experience: operations or production, project coordination, design.
Area of specialization: mining and mining engineering, industrial design. Work Setting Permanent position. Full time 40 hours per week.
Manufacturing or processing industry, oil and gas sector. Willingness to relocate; relocation costs not covered by employer. Languages: English.
