We are now looking for a driven and experienced Operations Manager to lead our Wakefield site.

Your Mission at Elis As Operations Manager, You’ll Lead and develop production and engineering teams to deliver on-time, high-quality service to our customers. Drive continuous improvement and efficiency through Lean principles and the Elis Production Essentials.

Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and regulatory standards. Take responsibility for site performance, resource planning, budgeting and forecasting. Work closely with the General Manager, deputising when required, and contributing to long-term strategy.

Champion a “One Team” culture across functions including engineering, service, textile and logistics. What will make you stand out? Proven experience in production, supply chain or service management, ideally in a regulated or process-driven industry.

Strong people leadership skills – able to motivate, coach and inspire high-performing teams. Commercial and financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and resource planning. Knowledge of ERP systems and strong analytical skills.

A proactive, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills. Desirable: experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies and NEBOSH certification.
