SENIOR AI ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior AI Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is an early-stage startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. The team has developed an AI agent, the world's top-performing marketer.

The solution works 24/7 to create and optimize LinkedIn ad campaigns, helping companies grow faster. The company is backed by Silicon Valley’s top enterprise & AI investors, including Mayfield. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in software development.

Strong knowledge of TypeScript is the main priority, and knowledge of Python is the second priority. Experience building a new product from scratch (0 → 1). Experience in data engineering: building data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation. (for example, analytics calculations or predictions using large data sets).

Understanding of developing with LLMs in production, and experience with prompt engineering. Understanding how to build AI agents using technologies such as RAG, LangChain, or CrewAI, as well as vector databases. Strong user of AI for development and coding using tools like Cursor or Augment Code.

Have an ownership attitude and are hungry to dig in. Good communication skills, proactive, and a fast learner. A strong and motivating team member who has experience working with start-ups and building everything.

Responsibilities: Work on the product features (like supporting new LinkedIn or Google Ad formats), platform features (like CRM integration), and AI related features (like improving AI agent learning, creating new AI agents and communication infrastructure between them, exploring RAG and agentic frameworks, chatbots, AI image generation, etc.). Use daily Langfuse, OpenAI calls, and prompt engineering. Implement changes faster with Cursor and other developer code generation tools.
