Senior Software Engineer — Agent Engineering | Series C Conversational AI Startup I'm working with a Series C conversational AI startup hiring 10–20 senior software engineers onto their Agent Engineering team. They power AI agents for some of the biggest names in fintech, healthcare, and consumer brands. $230M+ raised from tier-1 investors, 220+ team, scaling fast. The problem you'd help solve: Deploying AI agents that actually outperform humans in production is hard.

The team builds and ships these agents end-to-end, from initial implementation to continuous iteration, for enterprise customers handling millions of users across voice, chat, SMS, and email. You'd own complete agent deployments for individual customers, experiment with the latest text and voice models, and identify cross-customer patterns that shape the underlying platform. The team: Talent-dense engineering org, currently ~90 engineers scaling to 200 by year-end. Pod structure with real autonomy. Senior ICs lead complex deployments and mentor more junior engineers, no playbook, no hand-holding.

The package: $200–400K base (level-dependent, wide band because they're open to candidates on the fence of senior) Competitive equity at Series C 5 days a week in their San Francisco office You'll fit if you have: 5+ years in full-stack software engineering (open to strong candidates just shy of senior) Expert Python, strong TypeScript, comfort with async programming A track record of rapid career progression - early promo, founder, or early-stage employee somewhere that grew fast Background at a hyper-growth, talent-dense company Genuine appetite for customer-facing engineering work Nice to have: multi-modal models, competitive programming background, top CS undergrad.
