Salary 110,000 to 140,000 annually (To be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Consulting firm Responsibilities Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates Prepare engineering designs and drawings Credentials Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association Computer and technology knowledge AutoCAD Autodesk REVIT Area of work experience Project management Project coordination Design Area of specialization Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system Transportation/travel information Willing to travel Travel expenses paid by employer Public transportation is available Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast‑paced environment Work under pressure Combination of sitting, standing, walking Personal suitability Accurate Organized Reliability Team player Group insurance benefits Life insurance Other benefits Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP) Learning/training paid by employer Wellness program Who can apply for this job?
