Job Description You assist in planning, developing, and executing capital projects and in the technical development and feasibility of engineering-related activities in the supply chain. Your responsibility is to support growth, world‑class manufacturing, and productivity while ensuring the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You help enforce Mondelēz’s project management processes and standards throughout project execution.
How You Will Contribute The role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit‑for‑purpose technical solutions are provided, and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented and support the development and implementation of state‑of‑the‑art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and roll out best practices.

This role is the entry point into capital projects – someone who learns by doing, supporting senior engineers on active projects while building foundational skills. Key Skills Basic engineering fundamentals (mechanical, electrical, or process) AutoCAD / basic P&ID reading Contractor coordination and site supervision Purchase order tracking and budget reporting Familiarity with food‑grade/sanitary design standards (a plus) Supports project engineers in the execution of capital projects from concept through commissioning.
Responsible for site walkdowns, contractor oversight, equipment receiving, punch list management, and project documentation. Prepares support packages and maintains project trackers. Work schedule Regular business hours M‑F (On‑site) Salary and Benefits The expected base salary range for this position is $76,800 to $96,000 CAD depending on experience, skills, education and budget.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 8% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
