Our client is a growing, Alberta-based environmental and industrial services organization seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance executive who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and enjoys partnering closely with operations to support scalable growth, process improvement, and strategic decision-making. The organization operates across multiple locations and services a diverse customer base within industrial, environmental, infrastructure, and energy-related sectors.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance, enhancing reporting and systems, supporting operational leadership, and helping position the business for continued expansion. Key areas of focus include: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making Analyze business performance across multiple service lines and operating entities Provide variance analysis and recommendations to leadership Support monthly financial reporting and operational performance reviews Partner with operational leaders to better understand revenue drivers, margins, and cost structures Analyze profitability across service lines, projects, and business units Support cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis Assist with acquisition analysis, due diligence, and integration support as needed Build dashboards, reporting tools, and financial models to improve decision-making Identify opportunities to improve financial planning processes and reporting efficiency Support ad hoc strategic projects for the CFO and executive leadership team The ideal profile will bring: 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or operational finance experience Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities Experience working in multi-entity environments is preferred Experience in industrial services, oilfield services, distribution, manufacturing, or related industries is considered a strong asset Strong understanding of operational drivers, margin analysis, and profitability reporting Advanced Excel skills required Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is considered an asset CPA or CFA designation is considered an asset but is not required Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with finance and operational leaders This is an opportunity to work directly with senior leadership in a growing business with international operations and significant complexity.
