Job Description
Manufacturing Financial Analyst / Plant Controller Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a Manufacturing Financial Analyst / Plant Controller to support financial operations across multiple plant locations. This position partners closely with plant leadership to drive financial performance, support operational decision-making, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end close activities and financial reporting for manufacturing operations.
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
Partner with shared services and U.S.-based business teams on balance sheet analysis and reconciliations. Monitor capital spending and evaluate plant investment projects. Drive cost reduction initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.
Provide financial guidance and reporting to plant leadership teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. CPA designation is a plus. 1+ years of accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Preferred Background Manufacturing or plant finance experience. Knowledge of SOX compliance and standard accounting practices. Strong Excel and ERP system experience preferred.
