Industry leading knowledge across the following technologies โ screw, vane, piston, portable compressors along with associated downstream set us apart as one of the UKโs leading compressed air specialist.
We are Main Distributors for Gardner Denver, Hydrovane and CompAir products in the UK with full factory & training support. Job Summary Air Compressors and Blowers North require a Compressed Air Service Engineer, with either a mechanical or electrical bias, to join an expanding service team operating out of our Sheffield based office. Responsibilities Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment Aluminium & Steel pipework installations Undertake planned and preventative maintenance on compressors and a range of ancillary equipment and compressed air systems Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repair Install and commission compressors and compressed air systems Recommend additional works that may assist customers or enhance the companyโs performance Maintain good professional working relationships with all existing and new customers Maintain company vehicle, PPE, testing and other company equipment in accordance with guidelines Basic Qualifications Experience in the compressed air industry would be valued but isnโt essential Experience with high pressure systems or F Gas qualifications desirable IPAF license is handy but not essential Good interpersonal and IT skills Desire to provide a high quality of workmanship & โcan doโ attitude Current UK driving licence Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Field based role, operating out of Sheffield Head Office.
