Senior Procurement Manager

A fantastic Senior Procurement Manager job based in Leeds offers the opportunity to work with a team of talented procurement professionals to deliver excellent strategic procurement and contract advice. This procurement job includes the opportunity to provide a full procurement service from the beginning of projects to the end with one of your employer’s most important clients. There will be opportunities for international and national travel to help and manage commissions.

Responsibilities and Duties Provide clients with procurement advice on important projects Provide specialist advice to clients in all sectors about procurement strategy Manage procurement services from start to finish on large-scale construction-related projects Support the development of the company’s services to clients Provide procurement support to ensure goals are achieved at a team level Support proposal documents and bid preparation work Desired Skills and Experience Strong experience with developing key procurement strategies and/or documentation that complies with OJEU regulations Strong experience with contract management Experience with strategic and supply chains is essential Cross-sector procurement experience is required Experience with contract development and drafting, including terms, negotiation, and award Experience with commercial modelling SC clearance is desirable Confident, independent worker Excellent communication, adaptability, and determination for success Qualifications/Educational Requirements A degree related to quantity surveying, law, or procurement is preferred Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) is preferred Employing Company Overview and Profile This leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy company with offices in Leeds works globally to complete challenging projects with a diverse team, creating exciting environments and career prospects for procurement professionals.
