Sr. Software Engineer – Backend (Cart, Checkout, ecommerce)

Hiring: Sr. Software Engineer – Backend Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid) Salary: ₹24.7 LPA – ₹33 LPA We are looking for an experienced Sr. Backend Software Engineer to join a global technology-driven organization focused on building scalable digital and eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities: • Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs using NodeJS • Build scalable API-driven solutions supporting Cart, Checkout, and revenue-critical platforms • Design and manage NoSQL databases, search indexes, and backend infrastructure • Solve complex scalability and performance challenges • Mentor engineering teams and drive best coding and development practices • Evaluate technical trade-offs based on cost, effort, and risk analysis Required Skills & Experience: ✔ 8 years of backend/API development experience ✔ Strong programming expertise in Python, JavaScript, and NodeJS ✔ Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms ✔ Experience with DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Graph DB, or other NoSQL technologies ✔ Strong understanding of API standards/frameworks ✔ Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new backend technologies ✔ Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions ✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field ⭐ Preferred / Nice to Have: • Experience with AI/LLM-driven applications • Familiarity with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Windsurf • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Experience working in distributed/global teams
