Cybersecurity Engineer Talent Community Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid) Language: English, strong written and verbal communication required Background Check Requirement: Yes, background and reference checks required About the Opportunity Altis is building a pipeline of experienced Cybersecurity Engineers for upcoming opportunities with established organizations. These roles are focused on strengthening enterprise security practices, protecting sensitive information, and ensuring resilient technology environments. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a key role in identifying vulnerabilities, enhancing controls, and supporting regulatory and audit requirements.

Your expertise will directly contribute to risk reduction and the ongoing maturity of security programs. Your Responsibilities You’ll manage vulnerability and exposure management activities to identify, assess, and reduce security risks. In this role, you’ll translate findings from security assessments, penetration testing, and scanning tools into structured remediation plans.

You’ll validate control effectiveness through configuration reviews, access audits, and follow‑up testing. You’ll configure and maintain identity and access security controls, including MFA and Conditional Access policies. You’ll support audit and compliance requirements by maintaining documentation, performing access reviews, and validating key controls.

You’ll collaborate with technical stakeholders to support monitoring activities and incident response processes. Skills and Qualifications 5+ years of progressive cybersecurity engineering experience. Strong experience securing cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Hands‑on knowledge of vulnerability management and risk mitigation practices. Experience implementing and managing identity and access management controls. Strong documentation skills with experience supporting audits or regulatory reviews.
