Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and efficient Business Manager for our farm equipment rentals division, FarmX. In this role, you will own on-ground expansion and performance by driving partner onboarding, market selection, demand generation, operational discipline and farmer adoption in target geographies.

The ideal candidate is passionate about agriculture, understands farming dynamics and possesses a strong background in business development and operations. Responsibilities: β–ͺ Onboard machinery partners, operators, and service providers onto the platform β–ͺ Identify and set up centers in profitable markets β–ͺ Conduct market and competitor research to adopt best practices β–ͺ Ensure farmer adoption, drive demand generation and improve operational efficiency β–ͺ Manage field teams and ensure timely delivery of targets β–ͺ Track performance metrics and improve profitability β–ͺ Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve execution issues β–ͺ Maintain strong relationships with partners and local market stakeholders β–ͺ Support service quality, partner performance, and customer experience Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities: β–ͺ 6-8 years of experience in farm machinery, especially harvesters, drones, or related segments β–ͺ Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, or Operations Manager β–ͺ Strong understanding of rural markets and farmer behavior β–ͺ Proven ability to manage teams and drive field execution β–ͺ Willingness to travel extensively Preferred background: β–ͺ Experience in farm mechanization, custom hiring, or agri-services β–ͺ Exposure to market expansion and partner network development β–ͺ Ability to balance sales, operations, and profitability goals Education: β–ͺ Bachelors/ Masters degree in Agriculture/ Engineering/ Business Management
