Senior Finance Manager

Role Description: General Accounting: · Ensuresthe integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. · Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. · Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. · Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries. · Summarizes financialstatus by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements. · Securesfinancial information by completing database backups. Accounts Payable: · Ensure invoices are booked in system on a timely basis, that all invoices are authorized according to delegation of authority. · Ensure that all invoices approved are for goods and services received as ordered, and are accurate as to prices, extensions, and terms. · Ensure that all expenses are charged to the correct account and do any reclassification when needed. · Payment to suppliers is supported with authorized invoices and receiving report, invoice, and purchasing order are compared and matched before payment is processed, Conduct three-way matching test. · Work closely with procurement and logisticsto resolve any pricing or quantity discrepancies. · Ensure that accounts payable sub ledger is reconciled to the GL on a monthly basis to ensure that financial records accurately reflect the current status of transactions and events. · Ensure that related internal control procedures are maintained and complied with. Vendor/Customer reconciliation, GST, TDS Filing, Statutory Compliances, Accounting etc.

Qualifications Experience in accounting and finance with strong analytical, problem-solving skills ,attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. Qualification : CA /CA freshers,B -Com Experience in D2C and startups is preferred.
