Job Description
We are partnering with a top-tier public sector institution in British Columbia to find a Senior Business Analyst (Salesforce) to join their team. This is a highly technical, Salesforce-focused role acting as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and development teams. You will support a high-priority Transformation project, with long-term continuation into a broader Enterprise CRM Roadmap.
This is a permanent role, hybrid 2 -3 days in Vancouver. Compensation includes base salary, strong benefits, and pension. What You’ll Do Lead technical discovery for major systems replacement and the transformation of 130+ manual workflows.
Conduct robust "Fit-Gap" analyses against Salesforce capabilities, minimizing technical debt by leveraging out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionality over custom code. Perform critical data gap analyses, identifying and mapping key data elements across systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday). Map out ambiguous, decentralized environments to produce data-backed artifacts like Persona Inventories and Journey Maps.
Plan and lead complex stakeholder workshops and "Product Discovery" sprints to drive alignment across a large number of decentralized teams. Drive the technical scope of RFPs for implementation partners and manage technical traceability through User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Monitor Salesforce’s tri-annual releases to proactively identify opportunities to replace legacy custom solutions with new platform capabilities.
What You Bring 8+ years of deep BA experience, acting as a Lead BA on a recent, major Salesforce implementation. Active Salesforce certifications an asset Hands‑on working experience in one or more specialized areas a must : OmniStudio, Marketing Cloud, Agentforce, and/or Data Cloud. A process-first, analytical mindset with a proven ability to translate complex business logic into precise functional and system specifications.
