Business Intelligence Engineer

BI Engineer (Hybrid – Greater Toronto Area) A growing organization in the Greater Toronto Area is seeking a hands-on BI Engineer to support its expanding data and analytics initiatives. This role sits within a fast-evolving data team focused on building a modern, scalable analytics platform that drives better business decision-making. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes Build and optimize data solutions using Python, SQL, and PySpark Support the development and implementation of a modern data platform using Microsoft Fabric Collaborate with stakeholders across analytics, engineering, and business teams to deliver reliable reporting solutions Improve data quality, integrity, and performance across enterprise datasets Contribute to the ongoing expansion of BI reporting and self-service analytics capabilities Required Skills & Experience Strong experience as a BI Engineer or Data Engineer in enterprise environments Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL development Hands-on experience with PySpark Exposure to or experience working within Microsoft Fabric (or similar modern cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Services) Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and analytics workflows Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Location Hybrid: Greater Toronto Area (3 days onsite)
