AI-Driven QA Manager

AI‑Driven QA Lead We are seeking a dynamic AI‑Driven QA Lead to modernize our quality assurance processes. This role is ideal for an emerging leader with strong ownership, hands‑on testing skills, and deep fluency with modern generative AI tools. About the Role Over the first 3 months, you will work primarily in a hands‑on capacity, strengthening our existing QA processes and baselines across web, iOS, and Android.

After that, you will lead the introduction and scaling of AI‑based QA automation, and gradually transition into a more strategic role, owning AI‑driven QA automation and guiding the manual testing team on new tools, workflows, and best practices. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to embed quality into every stage of the software development lifecycle and ensure our releases are reliable, fast, and data‑driven. Key Responsibilities Design and execute test plans across web, iOS, and Android, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.

Lead the transition from manual testing to AI‑assisted and automated testing, starting from hands‑on implementation and moving toward strategic ownership. Evaluate, select, and implement AI‑based testing tools and frameworks (beyond simple chat‑based generative tools) for test creation, execution, and analysis. Integrate automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines to ensure builds meet minimum quality thresholds before promotion.

Define and track QA metrics and SLAs, driving corrective actions when quality or timelines are at risk. Mentor and guide the QA team on AI‑driven testing practices, processes, and tooling. Stay current with trends in AI‑driven QA and propose practical improvements to our testing strategy.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 2–4 years of experience in QA, including at least 2 years in a lead or manager capacity (team leadership, ownership of QA scope, or similar). Minimum 1 year of proven, hands‑on experience using AI‑based testing tools (for example: AI‑driven test generation, visual testing, or intelligent test automation), beyond general‑purpose chat‑based generative tools. Strong foundation in QA methodologies, test design techniques, and defect management.

Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or AI‑based alternatives. Proficiency in at least one programming language Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum practices. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.

Nice to Have Knowledge of AI‑powered visual testing tools. Experience with cloud‑based testing platforms and DevOps practices.
