Job Description

Employment and Financial Services (EFS) Analyst – Ministry of Assisted Living and Social Services; Full-time; Edmonton, Alberta; 36.25 hours per week; Salary: $2,935.39 to $3,850.29 bi‑weekly ($76,613 – $100,492 per year); Classification: Program Services 3. Role Responsibilities Support data‑driven decision making by designing, delivering, and maintaining analytics dashboards and reporting solutions that improve program integrity, operational planning, performance management, and continuous improvement. Design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions.

Analyze complex data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Build data visualizations and analytics solutions to communicate insights. Integrate and transform data from multiple sources into structured analytical models.

Lead testing, data validation, and data quality assurance processes. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and recommendations. Support projects, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑ministry collaboration.

Key Qualifications Essential qualifications: Post‑secondary degree in a related field and at least 2 years of progressively responsible related experience. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with experience interpreting and communicating data. Proficiency with analytics and collaboration tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Apps).

Preferred assets: Experience developing applications or working with data modelling and visualization. Knowledge of government programs, policy context, or service delivery environments. Benefits Positive workplace culture and work‑life balance.
