Energy Efficiency Analyst / Business Analyst I = Location: Philadelphia, PA 19103 (Center City โ€“ Penn Center) - Hybrid 2 days in the office =R Duration: 12 Months (Contract) = Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) = Pay Rate: $38/hr Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Energy Efficiency Analyst / Business Analyst I to support a dynamic Rebate & Incentive Services team in Philadelphia. This role plays a key part in supporting both client-facing and technical energy efficiency initiatives, helping drive sustainability and decarbonization efforts for major national brands. The position combines data analysis, reporting, customer support, and technical rebate processing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is analytical, resourceful, and comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally. Key Responsibilities Customer & Account Support Partner with Account Managers to deliver high-quality service to enterprise clients Manage action items and input project data into tracking systems Organize and maintain project documentation (construction drawings, utility bills, invoices, audits) Communicate with clients and vendors via phone and email Support ongoing client initiatives through administrative and operational tasks Data Analysis & Reporting Perform data manipulation and analysis using Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced required) Generate customized reports using enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft, Passport, and reporting tools Analyze data to support operational decisions and energy efficiency initiatives Technical Energy Efficiency & Rebate Support Review project scopes (lighting, HVAC, refrigeration) for energy savings and rebate eligibility Estimate rebates and prepare application submissions across multiple programs Perform basic energy savings and performance calculations Research rebate programs, eligibility requirements, and guidelines across North America Collaborate with project teams to develop rebate strategies for multi-site initiatives Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies in rebate and reporting workflows Support process optimization efforts to improve accuracy, speed, and cost efficiency Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a complex operational environment Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or administrative support Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data manipulation, reporting, analysis) Experience working with enterprise systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Passport, reporting tools) Excellent communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in energy, utilities, or power delivery environments Understanding of energy efficiency concepts and equipment (HVAC, lighting, refrigeration) Experience supporting rebate programs or sustainability initiatives Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Impromptu) Work Environment Full-time position based in Center City Philadelphia Potential for hybrid work at manager discretion Collaborative, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment
