Job Description
Primarily responsible for quarterbacking the identification, pursuit, and success of sales opportunities across Automation, Engineering, and Reliability Solutions within the assigned territory and/or market segments- leading the charge while leveraging a team of technical subject matter experts (SMEs) who support you in solution development and implementation. Develop expertise in automation, reliability, and third-party product solutions for clients in your territory. Identify new business opportunities and lead pursuit strategies in collaboration with internal sales teams. Create and maintain strategic account plans, including competitive analysis and client engagement strategies. Lead diverse sales teams through project pursuits, including engineers, solution architects, and account managers. Guide internal proposal reviews, ensuring alignment with pursuit strategies. Act as the primary liaison for project identification, qualification, and proposal development. Cultivate strong working relationships with external business development teams and internal stakeholders. Apply consultative selling techniques to deliver tailored solutions to clients' unique challenges..
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, including client contacts, activities, and forecasting data. Collaborate with solution architects for proposal development and strategic initiatives. Facilitate seamless hand-offs between sales, customer support, and engineering teams.
