Project Engineering Manager

Project Engineering Manager — Nashville, Tennessee Our client, a food manufacturing organization based in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead capital and facility improvement projects across their operations. This is a retained search conducted by Transparent Search Group on behalf of the company. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates outside the Nashville area.

Responsibilities Plan, manage, and execute capital improvement and facility expansion projects from concept through commissioning Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, quality, and external contractors Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans Ensure all projects comply with food safety regulations, GMP standards, and applicable codes Evaluate and select engineering vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers Track project milestones and report status to senior leadership Identify and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing processes and infrastructure Qualifications Background in food manufacturing is required Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools Working knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, and regulatory requirements Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred Experience managing external contractors and cross-functional internal teams Why This Opportunity This role offers the chance to take meaningful ownership of engineering projects within a stable, operationally focused food manufacturing business.
