Key Responsibilities: Server monitoring โ Poll all in-scope servers at pre-defined intervals per service baselines, tracking: i) Server availability ii)File system / partition utilisation iii)Memory and processor utilisation Service monitoring : Monitor critical OS, database, and middleware services; log valid alerts as tickets in the helpdesk tool Storage monitoring : Monitor SAN/NAS devices for availability per the agreed service window Network monitoring : Monitor critical network parameters using available tools, covering: i) Device availability and loopback/interface status ii) Link uptime and bandwidth utilisation iii) CPU utilisation of routers and switches iv) Packet drops and IT firewall availability SSL certificate management :Track certificate expiry, coordinate renewals, and ensure timely resolution Patch coordination : Act as single point of contact to coordinate patching activities end-to-end with respective towers during scheduled windows MIS reporting : Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reviews with the IT Service Manager; submit the monthly MIS report by the 5th of each month What We're Looking For: 1.6โ3 years of experience in DC monitoring, NOC, or infrastructure operations Hands-on experience with monitoring/observability tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, or similar) Working knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration basics Familiarity with ITSM/helpdesk platforms (ServiceNow, Freshservice, or equivalent) Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, routing) Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail Effective communication and incident escalation skills
