Job Summary The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supporting in-house automation systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and dispensing applications. The role focuses on mechanical assembly coordination, system integration, troubleshooting, and value engineering of the equipment. The position requires a hands-on approach to ensure reliable operation of automated systems such as robotic handling units, dispensing machines, packaging systems, and material handling.

This role does not involve product design or external site work. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support mechanical assembly of automation equipment. Ensure proper alignment, fitment, and calibration of mechanical systems.

Coordinate with design, electrical and controls teams for seamless system integration. Verify components and assemblies as per technical drawings and specifications. Identify operational issues and support process optimization.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electromechanical issues. Handle components such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, linear guides and other electromechanical components. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.

Monitor system performance and ensure uninterrupted operation. Assist in setup, calibration, and fine-tuning of robotic and automated systems. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 2–5 years of experience in automation, robotics, mechatronics, or pharmaceutical manufacturing Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals Hands-on troubleshooting experience Skills & Competencies Strong documentation discipline Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Hands-on and practical approach Good cross-functional coordination High attention to detail and compliance mindset
