PHP Developer

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (PHP) with 5 to 8 years of experience in web application development. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Laravel, MySQL, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. Experience with PostgreSQL and CodeIgniter (CI) will be an added advantage.

The candidate should be a self-motivated team player capable of handling complex development tasks and delivering scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP-based web applications using Laravel. Design and manage MySQL databases, ensuring high performance and security.

Work with jQuery, HTML, and CSS to create interactive and responsive UI/UX. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects efficiently. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.

Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices. Implement and maintain APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems. Optimize application performance and database queries for efficiency.

Stay updated with the latest PHP, Laravel, and frontend development trends. Required Skills: ✅ PHP Frameworks: Laravel (Compulsory), CodeIgniter and YII2 (Preferred) ✅ Database Management: MySQL (Compulsory), PostgreSQL (Preferred) ✅ Frontend Technologies: jQuery, HTML, CSS, BOOTSTRAP ✅ Version Control: Git/GitHub/Bitbucket ✅ Web Services & APIs: RESTful APIs, JSON, AJAX ✅ Other: Strong problem-solving skills and debugging expertise Preferred Skills: Experience in PostgreSQL for database management. Familiarity with CodeIgniter (CI) framework.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) is a plus. Understanding of DevOps tools like Docker, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines. Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in PHP, Laravel, or MySQL will be an advantage.
