This role operates within our highly collaborative Operational Excellence – Business Analysis functional group, responsible for the delivery of new core functionality, enhancements, and defect fixes within the suite of Johnston Group applications, its ecosystem and other enterprise applications. As the successful candidate, you are a strategic, collaborative problem solver.

You will be involved in defining project scope, testing and acceptance, implementation, and review. Throughout the process, you will report project status to all stakeholders and manage issues as they arise. You will investigate, analyze, document and communicate business requirements using appropriate tools and processes, in addition to collaborating with all stakeholders on project specifications, quality issues, and standards. *Hybrid working model based out of our Winnipeg, MB office, with three days in-office per week.

Qualifications Degree, diploma, or certification in Business Analysis, Computer Science or related field Minimum three years’ experience in Business Analysis Experience in the group insurance industry is an asset Experience in Business Analysis methodologies and tools, including UML diagrams Experience with Lean, process modeling, continuous improvement, or Agile methodologies is highly desirable Experience in Change Management/Project Management is considered an asset Proficient in data analysis with strong capabilities in Excel and PowerBI Demonstrated workshop facilitation skills Strong understanding of databases, SQL, and systems development concepts Experience in software quality assurance, software testing, technical support, or related software development roles Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to recommend corrective actions Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and with employees from diverse backgrounds The successful candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
