Engineering Student

Position : Engineering/Technical Student Location : Ottawa, Ontario Duration : 4 months, September 2026 – December 2026 Responsibilities Conducts deficiency walks.

Coordinates and supervises sub-trade work. Coordinates quality assurance reviews. Takes and coordinates progress photos.

Tracks site progress and deficiencies. Verifies site conditions and coordinates with drawings. Coordinates, marks up and updates drawings.

Coordinates work-specific scope and trades. Conducts trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours, and rates. Inputs and updates deficiency logs.

Participates in project meetings. Performs quantity take-offs. Produces as-built drawings.

Sets up and maintains record keeping. Qualifications Working towards a degree or diploma in a civil engineering‑related field. A passion for working in a construction environment.

Experience with computer software programs including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting. Self‑motivation with a hands‑on approach. Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.
