St Jude's Health Care Group is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Group Management Accountant to join our growing Finance team based in West Perth.

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance leadership team, the Group Management Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across multiple entities within the Group. You will provide valuable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making while maintaining strong financial controls and governance.

This role will also lead improvements in financial reporting systems, processes, and automation initiatives, helping the organisation achieve greater efficiency and visibility across its operations.

This position is being offered on a permanent full-time basis and is located at our modern West Perth office.

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare and manage monthly group management accounts, including consolidated balance sheet and profit&loss

Oversee intercompany accounting, eliminations, reconciliations, and reporting across multiple entities.

Deliver meaningful financial analysis, insights, and executive-level commentary to support business decisions.

Analyse operational and financial drivers, including funding utilisation, occupancy, service delivery performance, revenue, and cost efficiency.

Lead financial systems management, including Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/D365 and Jet Reporting.

Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting standardisation.

Maintain strong governance, compliance, and internal controls, including GST, payroll tax, and regulatory obligations.

Support annual audits, statutory reporting requirements, and risk management activities.

Mentor and support junior finance team members while building strong relationships with operational stakeholders.

This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is located at our modern West Perth office.

Skills, Attributes and Experience

Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, Management Accountant, or similar finance leadership role within a multi-entity environment.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and/or D365 Finance systems.

Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, consolidations and commercial analysis.

CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to operational leaders and executives.

Experience within aged care, disability services, healthcare, community services, or a similar funding-driven sector is highly regarded.

Advanced capability in Jet Reporting or similar financial reporting tools.

Exposure to executive, board, and leadership reporting.

Experience supporting system implementations, finance transformation projects, or process improvement initiatives.

Ability to obtain and maintain required compliance checks, including National Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening (where applicable).
