Position:

Locum Rheumatologist

Location:

Calgary, Alberta

Duration:

1 Year

Start Date:

July 2027 (flexible)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive rheumatologic care to a diverse patient population.
  • Conduct consultations, assessments, and follow-ups in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Support clinical teaching for residents and medical students (optional) through an academic affiliation of the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and specialized training in Rheumatology.
  • Current licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in managing rheumatologic conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
