Job Description
As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Department Manager to lead our growing team at our brand-new Milton Keynes site. Please apply only if you hold a valid UK driving licence, as the role may involve driving a company van between sites to transport packed products.,
- Pack bread, pastries, and other baked goods in line with company standards and customer requirements
- Ensure products are protected to maintain quality and presentation
- Check products for accuracy, quantity, and variety before packing
- Apply correct labels including product details and best before dates
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety, and food safety at all times
Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work - Able to work well as part of a team with clear communication skills
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting
- Reliable, organised, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team success
- Previous packing or food production experience is an advantage but not essential
