Sales Manager - Premium Event Venues

Overview

In this role you drive revenue growth for a portfolio of premium venues, combining proactive and reactive sales to meet targets. You will cultivate relationships with corporate clients, agencies and venue partners, and lead the sales process from prospecting to bespoke proposals. You’ll mentor the sales team and ensure a seamless client experience through accurate forecasting and CRM management.

• Drive reactive and proactive sales across the venue portfolio to meet or exceed revenue targets
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, agencies, event planners, venue partners and stakeholders
• Identify and secure new business through networking, industry events, venue visits and client meetings
• Conduct venue show rounds and deliver client presentations with bespoke proposals, quotations, contracts and solutions
• Mentor and develop the sales team, set KPIs and support conversion and retention
• Maintain accurate sales reporting, forecasting and CRM records; collaborate with operations and catering teams to ensure client satisfaction

• Previous experience in a sales management role within events, hospitality, catering or venue industry
• Strong commercial and business development skills with proven ability to generate and convert new business
• Excellent relationship management, communication and negotiation skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for the events industry with knowledge of venues, clients, agencies and the markets
• Experience managing or mentoring a sales team with a proactive, target-driven approach
