\nDuration: 2 years (Extension/s thereafter but not guaranteed)
\nLocation: Brisbane Square
\nWe are looking for a specialist who can deliver outcomes in cloud platforms, infrastructure technologies, and technical architecture to design, operate, and optimise enterprise services.
\nWorking closely with the Service Manager - Automation, you will maintain change and configuration management items, ensure platform stability, and deliver required infrastructure to stakeholders on time to meet business needs.
\nThis is a senior technical role which will drive automation, cost efficiency and consistency across ICT allowing Council to deliver essential services to the residents of Brisbane.
\nThis role does require participation in a 24ร7 support roster to provide coverage after-hours, weekends, and public holidays when needed to ensure service availability is maintained.
To be successful you will have:\n- \n

- proven DevOps engineering capability \n
- extensive experience supporting and managing environments such as Kubernetes, VMware, Linux and Windows Server \n

Information Services branch (ISB) deliver digital and information strategies to maintain and enhance Council's information, processes, and systems. ISB is the driving force behind Council's digital evolution, setting the direction for how digital technologies connect and extend services while optimising Council operations.
\nISB operates within Corporate Services group which supports, equips and helps guide Council to deliver the Brisbane Vision through centralised corporate services.
\nThis role may require a Criminal History Check, or you may be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment to assess your ability to perform the genuine occupational requirements of the role.
