About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey. You will work collaboratively with doctors, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to provide safe, effective, and evidence-based care while promoting positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments, screening, and clinical observations.
  • Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with clinical protocols and professional standards.
  • Support patient treatment plans and ongoing care management.
  • Deliver patient education and health promotion activities.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Ensure compliance with AHPRA standards, privacy legislation, and organisational policies.

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • High level of professionalism, empathy, and patient focus
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Desirable

  • Experience in primary healthcare, chronic disease management, telehealth, or care coordination
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems
  • Knowledge of Medicare and healthcare compliance requirements
