Facilities Engineer

• Salary: €91,000 p.a. + bonus, pension, paid annual leave & public holidays


• Location: Clonee, Co. Meath - onsite 5 days, rotating 12-hour shifts

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering team supporting a large-scale, 24/7 data centre environment.

This is a hands-on role working across electrical, mechanical and controls systems. We are open to candidates from data centres, pharmaceutical, utility or similar critical environments.

What You'll Do

• Operate and maintain HV/LV, UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling and HVAC systems


• Monitor BMS/EPMS, troubleshoot faults and respond to alarms


• Deliver preventive and corrective maintenance


• Complete work orders using CMMS/Hexagon


• Support LOTO/COHE, isolation and permit-to-work procedures


• Supervise vendors and contractors during maintenance


• Carry out equipment inspections and identify potential issues early

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on maintenance engineering experience


• Experience across electrical, mechanical/HVAC and/or controls systems


• Experience within a critical or continuous-process environment


• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding ability


• Trade background or relevant engineering qualification


• Typically 5+ years' relevant experience, subject to qualification/experience equivalents


• Comfortable working rotating 12-hour day/night shifts and weekends

Nice to have: HV switching authorisation, BMS/EPMS/SCADA, CMMS/EAM or hyperscale data centre experience.

Week 1: 4 days | Week 2: 4 nights | Week 3: 4 days | Week 4: 3 nights
