The Role

This role is suited to a Qualified Chartered Accountant, who will play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, tax returns, develop your technical expertise, and take ownership of meaningful work within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, charities, and other organisations, to a high standard.

Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement

Prepare and review corporation tax, income tax, VAT, and capital gains tax returns.

Assist the Partners in ensuring the firm complies with all relevant audit and accounting legislative requirements

Assist in the accounts function of the firm which will include ensuring compliance deadlines are adhered to.

Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality service delivery and supporting their professional development.

Updating of records and procedures as required.

Constantly strive to add value to the practice.

Required Skills and Experience

ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant

3 years post qualification experience working in an accountancy practice

Experience in preparing/reviewing tax computations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team.

Excellent organisation skills and be able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment

Competent in accounting software and in Microsoft Office suite

Right to work in Northern Ireland
