Pay: £170 – £250 per day PAYE

Teaching Personnel are looking to speak with qualified Primary School Teachers who are looking for work across Croydon and the surrounding areas.

We work with a wide range of local primary schools and have opportunities available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

We're happy to work around what you're actually looking for.

You might want five days a week, a couple of days around other commitments, regular work within the same few schools, or your next long-term class teaching position.

Whatever you're looking for, we'd be happy to have a conversation and see what opportunities could work for you.

What opportunities are available?

We regularly recruit for:

• Daily supply teaching

• Short-term cover

• Long-term class teaching positions

• PPA and intervention cover

• Part-time teaching roles

• Full-time teaching positions

• Temporary-to-permanent opportunities

Supply teaching also doesn't have to mean working somewhere completely different every day.

Many of the teachers we work with build relationships with a small number of local schools and return to them regularly, while others prefer the variety and flexibility of working across different settings.

Guaranteed Work Scheme (GWS)

If you like the flexibility of supply teaching but would prefer some additional security, you may also be interested in Teaching Personnel's Guaranteed Work Scheme (GWS).

For suitable teachers, GWS allows you to agree the days you're available to work and, subject to the terms of the scheme, Teaching Personnel guarantees work on those agreed days.

This can be a great middle ground for teachers who want the flexibility of supply without quite as much uncertainty around their weekly work.

• Qualified Primary Teachers with UK QTS

• Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

Ideally, you'll be confident working within EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2, have good classroom and behaviour management skills and be able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Most importantly, we're looking for reliable and enthusiastic teachers who genuinely enjoy working with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.

In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
