Accountant

Group Accountant | London | Hybrid

A growing, private equity-backed organisation is looking to appoint a Group Accountant to join its Group Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to gain exposure to group accounting, financial reporting and process improvement within a fast-paced, evolving business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close process for corporate entities in line with group reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and post intercompany transactions and perform intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with corporate cost allocations and variance analysis against budget.
• Ensure invoices are accurately coded, approved and processed in a timely manner.
• Support lender reporting, statutory audit requirements and wider group finance activities.
• Assist with transfer pricing calculations and tax-related matters.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation across finance processes and controls.

About You

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Experience supporting month-end processes within a finance function.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Confident communicating with stakeholders across the business.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach.

Desirable Experience

• Multi-currency accounting exposure.
• Experience within a private equity-backed or high-growth business.
• Exposure to financial systems, reporting tools or planning platforms.
