Job Description
We are working a leading manufacturing company in North Dublin who are hiring an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This role is initially on a temporary basis with a view to extension and requires an immediate start
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will support the day-to-day finance function and gain broad exposure across financial and management accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close and management accounts
- Bank, balance sheet and supplier reconciliations
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Process invoices, payments and journals
- Assist with VAT and other statutory returns
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Assist with audit and year-end activities
- Provide general support to the finance team
Key Skills
- 2+ years' experience in a a similar role
- Part-qualified or working towards a qualification desirable not essential
- Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail
