We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Surgery Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary nursing with a specific focus on surgical procedures.

This position is available either Part-time or Full-time and offers the opportunity to work alongside leading veterinary specialists and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care
\n
• Maintaining surgical suites and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality
\n
• Providing support in anesthesia administration and monitoring
\n
• Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition
\n
• Providing compassionate care to patients and their families, offering education and support as needed
\n
• Collaborating with other members of the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care
\n

Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary nursing role, with a focus on surgical procedures
\n
• Strong knowledge of surgical nursing techniques and protocols
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Compassionate attitude towards animals and their caregivers
\n
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency specialised surgical procedures
\n
