Refurbishment and Remarketing Manager

Overview

In this role you lead the refurbishment and remarketing function at SCC Recyclea, ensuring safe, high‑quality repair, grading and resale of assets. You’ll work across Sales, Revive and partners to maximise value while developing the team and meeting service and commercial goals. The position sits in Europe’s largest privately‑owned IT company, offering scope to shape refurbishment processes and drive value recovery.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to sustain quality, safety and efficiency.

• Lead and develop the refurbishment and remarketing team with clear objectives and training
• Oversee daily operations across repair, refurbishment, grading, QA, listing, fulfilment, despatch and returns
• Maintain quality standards for refurbished equipment across multiple channels (Revive, OEM programmes, eBay, etc.)
• Document and enforce testing, cosmetic repair, configuration, grading and QC processes
• Coordinate with Sales, Revive, customers and OEMs to align stock, pricing, and demand
• Maximise value recovery while balancing quality, turnaround, cost and customer requirements
• Maintain accurate stock records for finished goods, WIP, parts and consumables
• Plan capacity and resources to meet KPIs and service targets safely and efficiently
• Use data to monitor performance, identify trends, manage backlogs and drive corrective actions
• Provide technical and operational leadership for new technologies and process improvements
• Build internal and external relationships and promptly resolve operational issues
• Ensure compliance with policies, Health and Safety, safety plans and environmental obligations
• Lead continuous improvement for safety, quality, customer experience, productivity and sustainability
• Prepare updates and performance reviews, escalate risks and constraints when needed

• Ability to obtain and maintain all Government/Police Security Clearance levels required
• Demonstrable experience in a similar ITAD/refurbishment/resale role, 2+ years preferred
