Responsibilities Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Prepare and cook special meals for customers as instructed by chef.

Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers. Oversee kitchen operations. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Set up and oversee buffets. Clean kitchen and work area. Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.

Hire and train kitchen staff. Qualifications Experience with Japanese cuisine.

Customer focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organised, reliability, team player, time management. Physical ability to handle heavy loads (45-60 kg), standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, work under pressure. Criminal record check, medical exam, basic security clearance required.

Willingness to use public transportation or travel as needed.
