Join our caring and dedicated aged care team as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse, offering flexible work that fits your availability while providing high‑quality clinical support to help our clients maintain their independence at home.

Summary:

\n

\n
• Role:  Enrolled Nurse & Registered Nurse - Casual (with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position after six months, based on performance).
\n
• Where: We support customers across Adelaide and aim to schedule your shifts within your local area, with no more than 25 minutes of driving.
\n
• Pay: EN rates start at $50.73 per hour including casual loading + penalties + superannuation / RN rates start at $67.30 per hour including casual loading + penalties + superannuation
\n
• Shifts: Regular Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, with occasional weekend shifts.
\n

Duties and responsibilities include:

\n

\n
• Travelling between customer’s homes and providing individual and personalised support to customers in accordance with their support plans and/or medical practitioner’s directions.
\n
• Working under the guidance and supervision of medical practitioners, working with allied health professionals, monitoring and communicating the customer’s condition, and other health and wellness related activities.
\n
• Demonstrating a commitment to best practise, ensuring that all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in accordance with Just Better Care’s policy and procedures, and legislative requirements.
\n
• Medication Administration and Complex Clinical Care i.e. palliative care, bowel care/suppositories, catheter care, stoma care, oxygen and more
\n
• Monitoring and communicating on the customer’s wellbeing and reporting on progress of customers
\n
• Ensuring that all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in accordance with Just Better Care’s policy and procedures, legislative requirements and program specific guidelines (i.e. DVA Community Nursing)
\n
• Providing training, coaching and guidance to Community Support Professionals and Support Staff/Case Managers as required
\n
• Conducting skills assessments of Community Support Professionals performing complex care services as required
\n
• Demonstrating a commitment to best practice and evidence of continued professional development
\n
• Participating in staff meetings and attending training opportunities when required
\n

• Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile devices) for accessing rosters & recording customer assessments & documenting feedback

What you will need:

• Current Enrolled Nurse registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
\n
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
\n
• Criminal Record Check
\n
• Updated First Aid, CPR & Manual Handling Certificates 
\n
• Current Driver's License
\n
• Reliable access to a roadworthy vehicle.
\n
• Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
\n
• Smart phone with internet access
\n
• Previous experience in the community care or health/aged care sector 
\n
