Job DescriptionOur Senior Cooks are experienced cooks who have worked in fine dining kitchens and are comfortable in high‑pressure environments. The Sr. Cooks must give orders within their section, work independently, and reliably carry out orders handed down by the Sous Chef and Chef. Their attention to detail is paramount, and they mentor junior cooks and troubleshoot problems that arise. The Day to Day You are keen to acquire new skills and take direction, feedback, and coaching from your Sous Chef, Chef, and/or General Manager.

You’re enthusiastic about the service ahead and proactively prepare and organize your station according to O&B standards. You value the recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications set by the restaurant. You easily maintain a prep list of station duties.

You understand the importance of the FIFO method to maximize freshness. You’re a team player and step in to assist with receiving and storing delivered items. You are fanatical about cleanliness of food prep areas, equipment, utensils, and strictly adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines.

Strictly adhere to WHMIS and MSDS guidelines. Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required. Qualifications

2–3 years of cooking experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume event or restaurant environment. Culinary diploma or degree is considered an asset. Strong understanding of professional cooking techniques and knife handling skills.

Ability to take direction, work efficiently, and remain calm under pressure. Physically able to stand for extended periods (100% of shift). Valid Food Handler Certification is a plus.

Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Full‑time position. Legally eligible to work in Canada.
