Senior Software Developer - Java

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a Highspring delivery team and contribute to the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-scale backend solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced software engineer who thrives in cloud-native environments and enjoys building robust, scalable applications using modern Java technologies.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions.
• Develop event-driven solutions and integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Create and maintain automated unit tests using JUnit and related frameworks.
• Support application quality, performance, and reliability objectives.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across development processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and team planning activities.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
